Our Mission:
The Advocacy Committee mobilizes our community to champion strong U.S. engagement with the United Nations and advance UN-aligned human rights priorities. Through nonpartisan civic education and coordinated action, including federal meetings with Colorado’s congressional offices, accessible advocacy tools, trainings, and our signature International Human Rights Award event; we empower Coloradans to turn their passion for a better world into tangible impact.
Connection to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)!
We mobilize Coloradans to advocate for strong U.S. engagement with the United Nations and advance human rights priorities. Through nonpartisan civic education, accessible advocacy tools, and direct engagement with elected officials, we empower community members to turn their passion into action: whether that’s writing a letter to the editor, testifying on a bill, or showing up for justice in their own backyard.
Our work is inspired by, and connects to, the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.
