Most of our efforts pertaining to this program involve studying new approaches and developing innovative ways to implement them. We evaluate our success in this field by gathering qualitative and quantitative data, and using that information to measure shifts and changes from our baseline measurements.
CITIES FOR CEDAW
CEDAW is the “Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women,” and the only international human rights treaty that focuses exclusively on the rights of women. United Nations The United States is 1 of 6 countries, and the only western and developed country, yet to ratifypass this international treaty for women.
Every year the Boulder County Chapter celebrates the anniversary of the entry into force of the United Nations Charter on October 24, 1945. This momentous event is celebrated world-wide with meetings, discussions and exhibits on the achievements and goals of the United Nations. In Boulder County the commemoration is a gathering of county NGOs working on international issues; organizations are invited to display information about their work.
COMMITTEE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY
The Committee for Environmental Sustainability is dedicated to supporting environmental advocacy, education, and involvement. We aim to connect with other non-profit organizations in Boulder to help bring a more inclusive and engaging understanding of our role in the environment and how we can help change things.
